Goodwell, Okla. ? There will be plenty of action for the OPSU sports teams this week, but all of it will be on the road.
After taking a weekend off, the Aggie football team will venture across the state this coming Saturday for a contest with longtime rival Langston University, and the opening kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. On Oct. 15 the Aggies, will be back on their home field for their annual Homecoming clash and they will have a 1:00 p.m. kickoff against Texas College.
The OPSU volleyball team will play in three different states this week, starting with a visit to Edmond on Wednesday to go against Central Oklahoma. On Thursday they will be in Arkansas to go against the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith and on Saturday they will be in Wichita, Kansas to play a match with Newman University. Their next home court action will be on Oct. 13 when they host Texas A&M International at 7:00 p.m. in Oscar Williams Fieldhouse.
Thursday through Saturday the rodeo team will be geared up and ready to win it all at the big rodeo in Durant, hosted by Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Also on Saturday, the OPSU cross country runners will be in Wichita Falls, Texas, to compete in the big meet hosted by Midwestern State University.
Beginning on Sunday the men?s golf team will be in Amarillo to participate in a three day tournament hosted by West Texas A&M University.
